This project is the first "big" assignment in my Design Fundamentals course. Using only Illustrator students have to create an exhibition poster for a cultural icon they have been assigned. They must research the icon and convey their personality, their work through type as image. My brief is a Spark Page and I include examples and directions. A separate slide deck accompanies a workshop demo that walks students through Illustrator by recreating the assignment itself. Student work is embedded below.
